POLICIES for the V Concerned
In-home services set to resume June 1st!
As Oregon starts the process of reopening, I want you to know that your health and safety remain my top priority. The Oregon Health Authority has issued a set of rules and recommendations which are meant to stop the spread and limit transmission of the virus. Out of an abundance of caution, I have consulted with an Infectious Disease Dr. and will be following their guidance as well. These new rules and precautions are listed below, and will be in effect until further notice. You can also find a link to the official OHA Phase One Reopening Guidelines here.
As you may know, the main mode of transmission of COVID-19 is through respiratory droplets. Wearing masks helps to limit transmission, however when working in such close proximity, further precautions have been recommended. I've been encouraged to provide services outdoors when possible or in an open garage if available. In the event that neither are an option, you will need to provide a well ventilated, clean and clutter free working area. If there are other individuals in the home, they will be required to remain a distance of at least 6 feet and a mask will be required for the duration of the appointment.
Upon arrival your hair must be clean and freshly washed. Due to restrictions I will not be offering blow-dry services. Hair may be cut either wet or dry. For color services, you will be required to wash out your own color. Shampoo, conditioner and gloves will be provided.
Consultations will be held over the phone prior to your appointment to limit conversation during your service. Evidence shows talking increases the amount of respiratory droplets emitted.
Clients will be screened prior to appointment and temperature will be checked at the door.
Clients are required to wash hands prior to starting service.
Masks for both stylists and clients will be required at all times.
Hand sanitizer and disposable face masks will be provided for the client in the event you do not have your own.
Stylist will change scrubs and face mask between each client/home.
Clean and sanitary capes will be supplied for each client/home.
Supplies and materials will be transported in separate sealed containers to prevent exposure from one home to the next.
All supplies and implements will be disinfected between clients/homes per OHA guidelines.
Any implements that can not be properly disinfected will be disposed of after use.
In the event that you or someone you're in contact with has symptoms, we will be required to reschedule your appointment until a later date.
Thank you in advance for adhering to all posted guidelines. I cant wait to see you soon!
